Gaming's most exciting national online event is BACK for its 4th year, and we're anticipating it to be bigger than ever! This event is always a smash hit with local players, and while it can seem daunting the first time, there's lots of other library pals to help you get set up and know what to do, with constant chat support during the event.
You'll need:
The format of the tournament is 10 2-player online matches against 2 players from another library in the qualifiers. Then the top libraries advance to a finals bracket for more matches, and the remaining libraries advance to a consolation bracket.
Your event can have as many players as you'd like in your room, and you can decide what 2 players represent your library in each round however you'd like. Most libraries either have the kids line up or run a quick prequalifier on a separate station to determine who plays in the next round. More details to come about this, but don't worry!
We had over 40 libraries all fighting each other at the same time for a spot in the finals last year, and there's room for more! Don't wait though, you'll want to test your connection well in advance of this event to make sure you have time to work out any kinks.
